• 8:00 p.m., FOX: Tempers on both sides have simmered during the first three games of the NLCS, as Sunday's benches-clearing staredown indicated. Will they boil over tonight, as the Dodgers look to even up the series at two games apiece? It's Joe Blanton for Philadelphia against Game 1 starter Derek Lowe for Los Angeles.
• 8:30 p.m., ESPN: Under the Monday Night Football spotlight, the New York Giants look avoid the trap and improve to 5-0 against the Cleveland Browns.
• 1:00 a.m., ESPN Classic: For insomniac fans of the sweet science: A Classic Boxing treat. It's not my pick for the greatest heavyweight title bout of all-time -- as it's frequently been called -- but the 1952 bout between Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott is certainly in my pantheon. Marciano came back from the first knockdown of his career to knock out Walcott in the 13th round with one of the most devastating right-hand missles ever caught on film.
