The latest buzz on the D.C. United front is that the club is close to finalizing a deal with Gonzalo Peralta, a starting central defender for Club Almirante Brown in Argentina's second division.

I like this trend. Bring 'em on, the Argies, the Brazilians, the Jamaicans. Let's be the BPL of the West. I'd love to see if we could get some Boca Juniors and River Plate players up here as well, not just second divisioners.
