The more Mexicans in the league the better. The teams know their target audience are immigrants.

It's not just about that. In fact, the number of Argentine players will probably outnumber Mexicans for the foreseeable future. Reason for that is that the Argentine league doesn't pay as well, so good players can be had for more reasonable money.
MLS wants the players for Latin America partially because it pleases the Latin American fan, but also because it's cost effective and provides for a good style of play.

MLS needs talent from any source it can get it if they want to ever play quality soccer. The best American players seem to find Europe more appealing -- I wonder why?

MPH - You want to know why MLS talent wants to play in Europe. the same reason South American and Mexican talent wants to play in the MLS. Money. MLS provides more money than South America and Mexico and Europe provides more money than MLS. It's simple economics.

I don't care who they sign, I just hope teams continue the trend away from constant long ball 'Brit-style' garbage. That has been my favorite development of the last 5 years.
The more Argies and Brazilians the better.

and yes, I realize neither of the guys being talked about are Argie or Brazilian. :) (though the style of systems they play are similar)

I agree Sithome, creativity through the midfield is exactly what we need for this league.
