Barcelona are being urged by Samuel Eto'o to make a move for Karim Benzema the 20 year Lyon sensation before he is swallowed up by either Arsenal or Chelsea. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are actively monitoring the player and both are prepared to bid for French international despite a ridiculous price tag being stuck on the player by Lyons president Jean-Michel Aulas.

Seriously! If Barca got Benzema...first TH14 will be at a MLS stadium near you. Second - Barcelona would practically make Real Madrid to break open the government banks to respond by actually getting Cristano Ronaldo.

Benzema and Eto'o up top for Barca? Damn. Barcelona right now is the probably the favorite to win Champions League this season the way their form is...this would be a crazy move and one that would make Barca even harder to beat.

Over the summer United was linked with Benzema. Well damnit, be linked with him again!!!

Otergod - the list is this:

Manchester United
Chelsea
Arsenal...wait, no - they don't spend money.
Real Madrid
Barcelona
LA Galaxy
Manchester City (I suspect that tomorrow the T&R will be Benzema to Man City)

Nothing new here, as pointed out by Zizou there are tons of teams interested and watching Benzema, I'd love for him to pick Barcelona but with so many teams interested it's anyone's guess where he will land.

Zizou- I think it's a bit too soon to pick favorites for Champions but one thing is for sure, Barcelona is playing incredible futbol right now and Eto'o and Benzema would be a sight to see and a force to be reckoned with especially when you add Messi to the mix...ay dio mio!

Zizou you forget AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma!

LOL...well done Shini, well done...how could I forget those clubs!

hey if he goes to barca, maybe henry will go back to arsenal where he belongs for a while ... before crossing the pond...but what about little bojan? when will he get his PT. they have stated ihe is part of their future. if he turns out to be the player they say he can become, there is no way they can afford to only play two of them along with messi, assuming eto'o keeps his form. plus, what if henry stays? he may not, but its still a possibility.

Yeah I think it won't come as a surprise when Henry and he gets transfered to MLS in the next year or two he just hasn't been able to fit into where Pep wants him to, and with Bojan still learning and playing well I believe he is in the future plans, let's not forget how injuries can quickly turn a teams success around so having Benzema would a HUGE plus but IMO a distant possibility.

None of this means anything...Football rumours are rubbish

I would absolutely love this guy to come to Arsenal though I have NEVER known Arsenal to shell out big bucks on buys like this maybe they can finally open up their wallet for a player of this caliber. Don't see him going to the Catalans but if he does, then like everyone else on here, I think he'll end up in the MLS, and if that happens, god i hope its with the Dynamo.

Too soon to speculate, but my guess at this stage would be Real Madrid based on need and willing to spend. AC Milan would be my next thought with their wanting to go younger and then perhaps Arsenal. Either way my Gunners are on the outside looking in. Maybe they can surprise.

no way arsenal will be able to afford benzema, look for karim to go to either chelsea, or real. i know this sounds crazy, but with van n. out for the season real will want to solidify their attack, and believe me madrid have the dough to do it. this sadens me porque i will die for the blaugrana, and would like to see nothing more than for madrid to crumble into the sea!!! i just think barca will hold out for cesc, when he is available next summer. this will be especially true if arsenal's able to sign bezema, but this wont happen. the midfield wins trophies. spanish midfields!!! ;visca catalunya!
