The gigs have been piling up faster than we had planned.  Now we're doing back to backs, which is good, and the crowds have been good, but we need to start looking for a large van or bus.  Our outdoor rigs take a lot of room, and this stuff is heavy.  Does it ever get boring?  Well, no, not really.  Although we may switch up our setlists to better match the location, there is always the unpredictable--like power, or weather, or noise codes etc.  Is it work?  You bet.  Is it fun?  Yes.  When it stops being fun, I'll pack up my gear for the last…

Hey!  Be careful with that!  While I certainly appreciate the unsolicited help from fans and from new roadies, I'm always apprehensive about letting them put away my gear.  I'm a huge Gibson fan, and have a Les Paul that is my absolute favorite.  That thing can do everything.  I also have several Epiphones (while not the top of the line, still extremely versatile), one an SG model of the Gibson, and the other a screaming Wildcat semi-hollow body.  Daaagone that axe can squeel.  Also I have a 12-string Ovation that is now my oldest guitar, but has such a…
